Sorry Rich, Don't agree on this one. I hate the term banter, its an excuse to act like a fool or belittle people. If my wife logged on here and took the time to set up an account and people were making comments about sending photos of herself then I would be less than impressed.

These types of helmets offer side impact protection, designed due to the amount of fatalities and serious injuries from falling rocks and uncontrolled falls striking the side of the 2nd climber in a rock climbing situation... we in the arb world adopted this type of helmet, the petzl ecrin rock was my first lid of this type ...as it offered us a similar amount of protection.

so IMO all staff should wear this type of helmet when working on a team of climbing arborists.

I also think its a money saving issue when employers supply ground staff with the standard type lid.

For all those conserned here is my correct PPE :001_tt2::thumbup:

maybe you could wear it while pruning apple trees with what looks like a 660, then take a picture of yourself and change your avatar, before everybody falls out. Crikey it's getting hot in here.

Nope. I read that thread.

Just think a lot of the posters on here would do well to think about this lady's other half, who stands a very good chance of knowing someone on this forum, and think about what he would think.

If it was me and someone said something similar about my wife in a pub for example, they would be working out how to pick glass out of themselves with broken bones.
