Yes Sky, I did read it, but it is up at a classified add price for £500, I thought that meant he was obliged to sell it at that price, even though the description says different. At that price it would be worth buying, I wouldn't pay more myself, as I would be after turning a profit.

Sometimes I'm not too sharp at making myself clear.

 

Unfortunately mate, a vendor is not obliged to sell something at the advertised price if they don't want to as their advert is not an offer to sell but an 'invitation to treat'. The first offer of the contract would be you offering to buy it, which they can choose to accept or not. Anyway, as Dan says, you and cranes are best not mixed.

The only value I would see in that machine is novelty - as difflock says a good one for the shows.

 

As a working machine it is a liability not an asset in my eyes - first of all it is not a crane it is a wheeled loader, and a pretty slow and awkward one at that, lacking in height, outreach stability and speed.

 

As much practical value as an ashtray on motorbike

B450 is not that common as a tractor one sold at auction around 7 years ago for 6k I think.

A good friend of mine has a B450 tractor he restored and it does 30mph but max rpm is 1500.

Could be a bargain for someone into restoration.
