Hi there everyone ive been having problems with my entec chipper 2000year, the problem being the revs keep dropping every min or so either on full revs or tickover, ive replaced the filters checked fuel lines etc but to no success then someone told me it could be the stress control box, so i disengaged it and think it cured the problem, so know i go down the road of where to get a new stress control box from or has anyone had a problem with the stress control on these chippers before or someone who has worked on them that can give some advice on whether it could be something i could do to the stress control!? thanks in advance hamdogg :confused1:

have you got tho old grey box stress control with the green light ? is the light green when running ?if so stress control is prob ok,do the revs just drop when feeding large lump through ? if thats the case it could be the belt tension.or does it rise and fall on its own ? check fuel lines for sludge probs,is the pump ticking ok and pumping? check for flow by pumping some fuel with the ign on and fuel pipe off into a container. hope this makes sense .if you ring timberwolf they are very helpfull as i had the same prob.mine was belts slack.

Fuel lines on these & the tw125 do break down, I would replace them, & clean out the tank too.

If your fuel pump is on the engine a perforated fuel pipe can often show no signs of a leak, but will draw air whilst running, causing engine running problems.
