At least you prevented an accident just look at it as a good deed it might pay of at a later date well done you

I doubt he's prevented owt, if the guys used to a dull saw, he'll use it in a certain way (forcing it), now it's sharp, he'll still use it the same way, only now it should fly threw the timber, so in reality, it may have upped the accident factor??

I was always told a sharp saw is a safer saw cuts easier yep so would do more of the work for the old boy and now he can hopefully see how easier it is to use sharp he might try not to cut up his drive.

Agree, any butcher or carpenter will tell you that you will never cut yourself with a sharp blade. Still havnt got the joke though concerning the original post, maybe its just me being old and not understanding modern comedy

Like I said Steve , its the way he tell em ! ....No I don't get either :confused1:

This modern comedy in my eyes is total cr,sh,rubbish, fawlty towers, only fools, rising damp, porrige, steptoe and son= real comedy. What is there now? not going out, russel howard, if I was given the choice of listening to russel howard or being infected with aids, with no hesitation I,d say "get the syringe"
