husq 372?

20" is perfect as the main bar on a 372xp, and most 20" bars will balanse the saw nicely. I have mostly used a 20" ProLite in Husky color on mine.

The saw has no problem with longer bars, but the balance will suffer (haven't tried a 28" Techlite, as I have no use for a 28" bar). A 24" Power Match is OK, but quite front heavy.

Add the full wrap, large spikes, and HD filter set up for better 'balance' ;) :

Looking at getting a smaller bar for my 372 xp. It's got a big bore kit and handles the 24" bar fine for my applications. Just wanting a smaller bar for reduced weight, better balance and less cutters to file etc. I don't use it every day.

So any recommendations? Is a 15" tooo small. Was thinking 18" for balance. Any bar recommendations as well. ( sorry for slight derail).:creep:

I run a husqvarna 372 with 20" bar its the saw I always have sent up the tree for the bigger stuff, plenty of power I find and not to heavy, akso run a 460 with 25" bar and muff mod and that is a monster they both have there place. Dont think your go far wrong with the husqvarna running a 20" but if you using for an everyday saw id go for an 18"
