That was a fair size cavity on a large tree which what looked like an open crown to be fair. No excuses for their working methods though – unforgivable.

 

I don’t agree to that poor tree being made an example of just for public entertainment. The amount of crown raising that took place would render it unstable now anyway.

 

Least it looks like it was done during the summer – Better chance of compartmentalising.:001_tongue:

i actually felt a bit sorry for the old boy...i think he was more ignorant than roguish

 

That what i thought- the guy at the end who was actually climbing actually seemed to think what they were doing was ok- no wheelspins and anger from them etc etc.:confused1:

Yes, they really didn't think they had done any thing wrong, and the guy doing the cutting wanted learn how to do the job.

 

I'm going to start doing some of those "tree condemnation" letters!! I didn't know I could do that :001_tt1:
