That does look nice! Lot of dough though

They are silly money yes.. but it is nice to have a jacket you can rely on. Their lofoten and trollvegen ranges are designed with climbers in mind too, so are really comfortable to wear with harness' and have pockets in places you can still get to.

Decision made and ordered.Really liked the look of the clark for climbing.Purpose made, it should work well with a harness, and make a crappy day at height bearable.

Decided its a two jacket deal so ordered the hh narvik too for other things.Really, even though i`m not a great fan of standing out like a traffic cone, it sometimes has to happen.Plus the fact the its good quality hh gear at a reasonable price.

Both jackets should see me through autumn and winter in comfort.

Cheers for the sage advice.

If you've got money to spend then I can't recommend Norrona jackets enough. Used them in some terrible conditions, including multi day trips mountaineering in torrential rain and never once have I got wet, from sweat or rain.

My current jacket from them is the Norrona trollvegen dri3. A simple durable design.

HI ALL go into snow and rock shop may cost £200/600 but it will be the best jacket on the market :thumbup1:jon
