Just saw watchmen at the cinema. Words fail me in describing quite how good this film was. As a big fan of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons original graphic novel, (and in expectation of it being usuall hollywood shite) I was stunned at how faithfully they stuck to the original.

Its graphicly violent, full of brutal fight scenes, sexy (silk spectre in her kinky boots!) dark, bleak, grim and complex.

Hurrah for comics!

It does look very good. I'll be watching it. Never read the comic though. Didn't the guy that wrote it hit the roof and say he wants nothing to do with the film though?

Thanks for your review Ed. I also am a fan boy. Was a bit scared of seeing it incase it was destroyed by Hollywood. But I feel safe now. Cheers.

I am incidentely, typing this in the upper class lounge at Heatrow, on my way to Hollywood for aphoto shoot. Jammy or what?

I'd never seen Vietnamese men blow up in such a controlled fashion.

Good stuff.............

Dr Manhatten would be good to have on a tree gang. 'Oi....Manhatten....Shrink that tree...'
