Stihl 046.Cant see me ever getting rid of it.If it dies i`ll rebuild it.Perfect size and power.I use an 18" and 25" bars on it.If i had to go anywhere and didnt know what i would encounter, but could only take one saw.This would be it.

 

Thats what I would say about my 372 ( spud ported ):001_smile:

Stihl 048av.

 

One hell of a monster, and built to last. No plastic crap on that saw. Everything was metal. Parts are like rocking horse poo now. But what a saw. Oh and a small muffler mod just makes it even more of an animal in timber.

yep, 254,262 and 266 all great saws, i love all the 2 series,242 was a whizzer:thumbup:

 

ive a 242xp and its the saw i love the most:thumbup:

 

13"bar running a full chisel,as a matter of fact i used it today

 

bought off e-bay for £122:001_rolleyes:
