The correct Round-up product will have approval for aquatic use - see link below. You do however technically require PA6AW and not just PA6A for use on our near water. You are also supposed to fill in the correct Environment Agency form prior to commencing.

Difficult to tell because I'm not keen to start pulling the bark off. There is some epicormic though. :001_smile:

 

As I understand it, without bark there are no adventitious buds

 

I've debarked loads of stumps with no call backs, saves mucking around with poison

I have not seen the site but my first thought was would you get to it on rope and harness with a freshly sharpened alpine stump grinder. Start it before you descend and then let the chips just roll down the bank. then spray what you cannot grind with roundup biactive.
