I have just been looking on a landy forum and if I get an engine then a plug and play ECU and wiring harness is under 3k. So I would need to get an engine and box. It would be awesome.

Regardless of power, what will 5 cu mtrs of chips to to the GVW?

 

That could be a 1.7 ton payload - what is the net weight (with kit, driver etc) of a 130?

The TD5 will be fine standard, my mewp & trailer combo goes at 2.6t, & its a breeze to tow.

I did get mine chipped, but that's because I wanted to, not needed to.

I am told the payload could be 1200 ish but I don't know for sure. So yes you have a point. A full 5cube might be a bit too much. But I was just trying to give a comparison for others to have some idea.
