Sorry need to vent, why do people just ignore what you put in your listings regarding payments and collection etc! to cut a long story short the cambelt went on my van last week, decided due to its current value its not worth repairing so put it on ebay, to get some money back out of it to put towards new work vehicle, usual terms contact within 24hrs and collect within 5 days, have'nt heard a squeak from winning bidder :sneaky2: followed up today when my drum mower I was selling finished only to get a message off the buyer saying hi I'm on holiday so can't collect for 3 weeks! then to top it off put in an offer on a discvery got refused did this 3 times eventually offering the asking price still got refused! emialed the seller for him to reply theres someone coming to look at it tomorrow so I'm refusing all offers til they've been, is it just me or would it not have been common curtesy to message and explain rather than keep messing about, am slightly fuming and still no further forward with replacement work vehicle at mo

Yeah I've had them in the past usually I'd just brush it off but as I need the money urgent to sort out a vehicle its peed me off a tad :001_cool:

i totally agree 200% its so annoying when you are selling bigger items and you state the obvious to them and you are banking on them completing on time and they come up with these excuses and dont return messages or dont turn up :cursing::confused13:

Why dont you just send the next highest bidder a "second chance offer" and bugger the winning bidder, thats what I do when they start messing me around!!

Did that he doesnt want it now :001_rolleyes:

I usually put £100 non returnable deposit to be paid within 24 hours or bad feedback. If i don't get it i know they ain't gonna go through.

Did that too always do on big stuff, had no contact and not sent deposit so he's just been UPI'd as its 5 days since auction end so at least get my fees back
