Well new to me. On sunday it was a lump of rust in an old shed. Dipped it in electrolysis bucket for a few hours and came out rust free. Don't laugh at the handle:001_smile: Made from a piece of bent ash and finished quickly. It falls just right for me with that bend.

what solution did you use in the electrolysis bucket? been looking to do this on a old axe i found when i looked on youtube they was using arm and hammer washing soda for best results but dont think we can get that in the uk ?

Nice with the poll intact. Did a make show up (looks like a stamp may be lurking there on the inside face and I'm guessing Brades from the shape)?

 

Re. electrolysis - any washing soda from Sainsbury's/Tescos will do.
