Went to pick up a lathe for someone this afternoon and the bloke gave me an old saw he had in his shed, it soon became apparent that it was a decent saw that hadn't done a lot of work as he was walking down the garden with it, it's an 041 av. Got it home, have it a quick clean and some fresh fuel and she fire up on the second pull!! :), it's almost immaculate apart from the bar and chain as the sprocket is literally brand new! Shame it hasn't got a chain break though :(. What do you think?ImageUploadedByArbtalk1375115224.542276.jpg.2a9ece13b5751bfab2aaf1c7b0e44e6b.jpg

I think you are a lucky person . Could you pick my lotto numbers please ??

Not so sure I'm that lucky haha. I was over the moon when she fired up, can't see it being used for anything though as no chain break, unless it would be any good on a mill?

I think its around 60cc and 5.5 hp so not really up to milling . Also I think it had contact breaker points . Not sure if electronic ignition was available . They do have a chain brake on the ones I have seen .
