Really enjoyed the Jonsie show - met a few more fellow arbtalkers. A few pics of the table making process - and end results.

 

 

I do take the legs and braces with me to save some time.

 

 

Took some winching kits which sold straight away! Using a new large snap hook to clip onto the mill now for ease. The winches can be a bit temperamental - the one I had fixed to the 56" mill would not unwind nicely :sneaky2:

The winch you and on rob.

 

When it wouldn't unwind, there is a small catch and it wasn't working like it should. Not sure if it was where it was being used on its side or not.

 

It's a catch that is suppose to spring out and lock the winch incase it runs away from the operator.

 

Should be too hard to figure out and as you ar not using it for pulling big loads you should be able to tweak it a small amount.

 

Very impressed by the way.

Will have a look at it again - not too technical like that am I! But the one on the other mill holds fine....

 

 

I'll have a tweak!
