Digger and trailer theft with pic's

A mate had his Ivor Williams trailer and Bob Cat digger stolen last week, could you take a look at the pic's below and see if you recognise any of the four lads, if not then keep an eye out as they may be coming to you next.

The wood where the machine was stolen from was completely out of the way and not near any sightlines from roads or public footpaths so it goes to prove nothing is safe. The battery had been removed from the digger for security but you will see in the one pic they simply use jump leads to get it going.

It would have taken at least half an hour to do this and there is the chance they could be disturbed as there is only one long track to access the wood, this does not detur them so I assume they are 'up for it' and being stopped and challenged is acceptable to them so I would suggest if you do encounter them then proceed with caution.

The old bill have GOT to know this lot.

I assume they have copies.

Although knowing their attitude to the "wandering" community, they'll come up with some excuse as to why the photos "don't actually show them commiting a crime sir, sorry, nothing we can do".

I was working on the door of a culb Friday night . There was a group of 40 irish travellers in town and at one point in the club. there was a larger police presence, I was talking to a copper about them nd equipment theft and was told exact words theres one rule for them and 1 rule for us and its just not cost effective to to raid sites or equipment!!
