Straight up (and down) help...

Hi guys and gals, I'm thinking of setting myself a challenge involving straight up and down a tree repeatedly. Normally I'd foot lock a doubled line to go up, and use ddrt with hitch & pulley for everything else. I feel this would be painfully inefficient and slow for constant ascending and descending. I'd like to keep gear and new expensive toys to a minimum. With that in mind, what suggestions do you all have to offer?

Thanks in advance. ..

Seriously? What on earth for? You want to go up and down a tree repeatedly?

What exactly will you achieve doing it quickly or slowly? :confused1:

Have you seen the temperature? Are the pubs all shut or something:001_smile:

Is it going to be for charity or something?

Just change to a Hitch Hiker or Rope Wrench. Foot lock the tail. Up and down all day long, fast and safe.
