Use to knock a girl off who lived in Howerth and that place is full of tourist something to do with the Bronte sisters plus the sene from the hovis advert with the boy walking up a cobled street in a bygon age was filmed there. Got nowt else to say bout Yorkshire lad.

If you like proper ale get yourself to the Cock o the north at Hipperholme just up the road from Wyke , micro brewery on site .

Calderdale industrial museum has open days in july, the Piece hall has a few good shops and sometimes a small market, for a decent pint go to the Three pigeons all 3 are in 10 mins walking distance,Hebden Bridge has canal boats . Shibden Hall should suit both of you, gardens and museum.

 

Just stay well clear of bradford and have a nice stay
