Went to the auctions today and bought a stihl BR500 blower and an MS200. Anyone used the 4mix blowers? It seems powerful, I wondered if there are any reliability issues with the 4mix?

Anyone want to buy an MS200?:001_smile:

the blower is awesome tom, sounds like a hovercraft :001_smile:

i might be tempted by the ms200

Its a 200 not a 200T and it was needing a few bits and bobs so its currently at the dealers getting done, If its a good'un I'll post details but at the mo I've no idea how good it is. Watch this space.:001_smile:

If you were at the apf there was the new 'special accessory' for the backpack blowers esp the 600: a cowhorn handle. This is a godsend as the 600 will rip your arm out of its socket when you first use it if your not used to them. Even the guys on the stihl stand said you could tell the lads who used a 600 all day as their right forearms are about twice the size of their left forearms (slight exageration, but not by much). The 4mix engine is a lot quieter than a two stroke due to the lower engine tone and the fuel consumption is less than a two stroke, i filled mine to the brim on wednesday morning, still got half a tank after doing 3/4 acre of garden.
