With all this heat they are forecasting this week, howz it going to effect your approach to health and safety?

At the risk of sounding like a perv I have told the guys to wear shorts at every opportunity when not chainsawing. Tops off looks too scruffy/eye-watering IMO

I have a no top's off on a work site policy, 1 it dont look good to the clients and 2 sunburn and associated risks, nice thin pair off walking trousers for when the saw work is over.

Fill a few water bottles now and stick them in the freezer, they'll be lovely for tomorrow. They also help to keep your lunch cool when kept in the same bag.

Fill them only 1/3 freeze solid then top up in the morning. So you get cool constant water

I like to start early and finish early. Get in to the woods about 6am. I always find a nice cotton shirt helps seems to be allow more air around your body than a T-shirt. I work with some lads that leave the chainsaw trousers in the van but that's there choice.
