We have a trailer tent and have been in the C&CC for years. Local club meets are a good way to get out for not a lot as long as you have your own facilities. We camped on a school playing field in Mablethorpe, went on a nice meet in Wells next the Sea and spent a few days at Rutland Water last year. The C&CC sends a magazine for you to find where the meets are and they are bound by club rules so you don't get noise and loud drinking parties that go on all night like some of the commercial sites we have used.

We ran a Camplet trailer tent when the children were young(ger)

Our only problem was persuading the children to leave the various campsites, once they had found the sand pit/play area and the other children, they were set for the duration.

We mostly went to France, the Municipal sites were always very pleasent, especially in those non touristy areas that were trying to build a tourist trade.

cheers

M
