Tree id help please

Took a tree down today and am unsure what it is, it grew up with several stems but not a massive spread in the canopy and the leaf stems are red in colour, any ideas?

Thank you and bugger it...have tipped this load at an equine yard and I read that it's poisonous to horses, looks like ill have to go pick it all back up now

Nah, Just go back and tip a load of Yew on top to cover it up!

looked it up and aparartely it produces cianide in the leaves

looked it up and aparartely it produces cianide in the leaves

 

...Prunus padus does...? Laurel, as in Laurocerasus, does, but not Prunus surely
