Small 150mm size logs do you charge more

Been pondering the same question. For the time being all the short logs are the off cuts left from cutting other length logs, so some variation in lengths. If they complain this season I will point out how much extra work is involved and that if they want perfect short logs they will have to pay more.

hi how do you come to the conclusion that you should charge more for smaller logs. If you have a price per cubic metre/truck load does this mean you charge less for someone wanting larger logs say 18" because there is less work involved.:thumbdown:

You can charge what you like your self employed. The idea is to have some profit left to live on, not supply rich stock brockers and bankers with cheap fuel. Small logs = more work, more fuel, more saw dust, and more in the bag as it fills the gaps they know this thats why they ask for it.
