You can change the highlights fonts etc. I reckon the original creator chose to do it. Will have a look and get back to you if i can figure it out.

I downloaded some software yesterday and placed the folder in my desktop. For some reason the folder titled is highlighted red. Does anyone know why this is?

Ahhh I see now, can change the colour of any file....I think I will make use of that now I know it exists!

Hi

 

Right click the folder, at the "Label:" option, the red square should be selected, just opt for the left most like an X & it will revert to normal, see flick
