Heres how I did it, bought a load of green beech a couple of years ago, ringed and billeted it and stacked it on pallets and bearers. Lit a fire last sunday burning conifer and the likes (lorry loads of the stuff), still smouldering on Tuesday. Tuesday into Wednesday the wind turns 90 degrees along with a gale force wind, good bye to around £2500 when logged and 3 good wheel barrows oh yeah and a plastic bollard.

Nightmare . Similar thing happened to one of my colleagues . He seen the fire and realised it was a no win situation and had the best bbq ever baked pots galore . Lots of hangovers . 5 weeks later we all helped build up his log store . To this day his yard is still known as the furnace lol .
