Mobile phone reception out in the sticks

This is one for you guys out in the middle of nowhere: Which mobile phone company to go for? Especially if you want to do make phone calls and browse the internet? I've asked a few companies, and obviously they all claim to have the most splendid coverage, but I know for a fact that O2 can be rubbish, and Vodafone customers have problems with reception while indoors...!! So, what's your verdict? Any tips on good tariffs would be much appreciated as well! Ta

Vodafone or O2 generally best for signal in the sticks. Orange is a definate no.

Beg to differ; I've had all of them and whilst once O2 were horrific, they are now on a par with V and O. I think the performance is regional; T mobile only works in London I've heard whilst Orange is best in Cornwall... Changes all the time so you can't win...

Been with o2 for ages, havent found anything to complain about yet. In fact, the coverage has improved in the last few years. As for mobile internet, I dont use it in this area, as I was told that East Anglia has the worst coverage in the country on all networks (carphone warehouse advice):001_smile:
