Micro chipper and 'through the house jobs'

Seem to have priced/done a lot of through the house jobs lately. Has anyone had any experience with using a small chipper, one small enough for a 2man lift and that would fit through a normal door/tight corners in a house. Then chipping into tubs/bags or leaving on site.

 

Was thinking this might be easier than carting it all in little bits and laying dust sheets down everywhere and then still marking the walls. Especially as we seem to have one client who seems to always get us in just after they have decorated and the new tennents are just about to move in!

 

Anyone recommend a machine and somewhere to hire one from in west London

They used to be called Swan vesters. Timberwolf make a small chipper still but what you probably want is a old Treebuster.

U want a jo- beau or cs100 green mech

2or 3 wheelie bins and jobs a good one

iv done my fair Share of them jobs

The timberwolf is ok but for them jobs the jo-beau or cs100 are king fires straight into the wheelie bins so u don't have to move chip

Would the cs100 fit through a doorway and round tight corners? Does the hopper easily come off to make it smaller?

I have one of these and its prety powerfull (22hp vtwin).

chips all the small ish stuff easy, ideal for small reductions etc .

Can anyone who has tried other makes in this class confirm that the jo beau + or the greenmech cs100 are the only way to go? I've read all the wee chipper threads and I'm thinking of buying a new cs100 but it's a lot of money considering what else you can get second hand for that price.
