Steve i would say add detailed info on the pro's and con's on each knott friction hitch etc also the different sizes of rope and type.

 

I am not sure if you will add rope types but it cost me alot of money trying to find out what combo works for me.

 

And in the future a complete knot guide in book format would be a winner, but as you say one thing at a time.

the rope/hitch cord may not be practical as they all respond differently based on many factors....i could put recommendations up but thats all they would be.........but.........

 

The whole thing will be relying on sponsorship from one of the rope companies to get it off the ground...so it will be best staying away from advising ropes unless we just recommend the ropes of the sponsors which would be so blatantly biased it would be a joke.

dont forget one knot I couldnt live without, the daisy chain, keeps your kit nice and neat when stowed on the back of your harness!
