Feedback wanted for knot directory

This has been on the cards for a long time now but having taken onboard comments in the other thread running regarding a catalogue of knots i've set the ball rolling and hopefully we shall have something nice and tidy up and running sometime in the next couple of months.

Now is the time to put forward any suggestions of what you might like to see in said catologue.

Many of the knots and hitches used aerially, are also practical for the ground worker. Doesnt hurt to learn a few of the climbing hitches/knots anyway, practise alongside the climbers.

Go for it. Edification is a good thing for all. Tips on splicing etc would be a benefit as well.

Just a thought, but if each knot's instructions are laid out as a pdf or something easy to print out so you can stick it in your kit bag and try them out in the field. Also easier to teach the rest of your crew from a sheet.

with the time money and effort that will go into this there will almost certainly be a copywright applied

It would be good to see they types of climbing & rigging Knots and systems

that people use on a daily basis

 

We all do the same work but in so many different ways, some better than others,some safer than others and some quicker than others (I mean the systems we use not the standard of work)

 

It would be good to see all of this info in one place
