Check to make sure you did not put the oil in the gas tank (sadly I am speaking from experience here).

thanks for the help guys, it now works fine. cleaned everything out and it started. loads of smoke but runs perfectly now.

ive found they are easy to flood...well my groundy has,evan if left for a while they will be a bitch to start but still my favourite saw at the momment

YEP! dead easy to flood and a sod to start after leaving! I hate my 357 and have asked my boss countless times to buy me a stihl!

I've never been Husky! I've been a die hard stihl user for years got 5 of em in the Landy. I just have to use a bloody Huskey at the agency!

just got rid of the 357 and got a stihl 341 and the stihl rules over the husky in my opinion. so much more grunt.

adam, are you running .325 pitch on it?

running the 3/8" on it at the moment , seems to run fine and i dont find it to be a slow saw really.

I think stihl for hard wood,lower revs more torc,huskys for soft wood ,only own stihl,have had huskys in the past,not over impressed
