Look for the proper certification.

Class 1 is for commercial use by tradesmen. BS and EN nos also apply

Think of an 18 stone heavy footed Hod carrier, with 8 stone of brick on his shoulder.

We bought really good, 3 section, wide footed, telescopic cum step ladder ones.

I cannot recall the brand, German I think. (It will come back to me)

Astoundingly good.

The brand made in Wales are also good, but did not offer the flexibility in use.

Hi

You are correct there are good and bad ones, we once got offered cheep ones and had to send them back after it collapsed on one of our staff demoing it. Luck we didn't sell any.

These are good and not just because I sell we use them to set up the trade shows, my loft ladder and in the shop.

Good ladder! takes up a seat in the crew cab.

Get the bag to store it in, just like the telescoping pole saws it is important to keep them clean and dent and scratch free. Very ahndy for getting on roofs and taking down communication lines etc. Light wt, durable and now that I have it gets used quite often for ascents because it fits in the barrow with most of the gear. It is pricey but I would say in the several months of use it has more than paid for itself.

Cheers
