have you seen the cordstrap buckle system - reusable and retensionable - we use for drying timber in our polytunnel when on pallets - when dried out more re tension and then if leave a bit of spare and cut when used near the buckle it can be reused again and again

Sounds good value.

It's always nice doing a job with right tools.

Oops:blushing:

Thank you Logbaron.

Cordstrap's is a slightly odd business model in todays cut-throat world.

But then the sisters daughter still under 30 has fallen in with an "old school" firm in London that trades and ships sugar world wide (the molasses part of Tate and Lyle as was)

Some serious hospitality on offer from the Hamburg ship owners btw, on a recent foray.

But anyway, apparently all about literally "knowing" who to phone worldwide.

And needless to say "One's word is one's bond".

She seems to be enjoying it.

I believe Ascot and Lord's for the cricket also figure.

Her brother who is a cricket nut(English breeding I suppose) was absolutly frothing at the mouth when dear Sis rhymed off some of the prestidious Cricket matches she had been oblidged to take clients too.

now, where was I?

Think you mentioned blue rope idea Marcus (oh aar!) a few posts back, seems to work well in this clip

anyways for this dude (not sure what the plastic spike things are called or where they can be sourced though, but seem to make the job a little easier).

neat little lifting frame for the forks at the 3:15 mark

Well bugger that!

Very clever "gizmo".

Needs incorporating into a "hitch" arrangment to avail of the extra mechanical advantage.

It was however the "unknotting" that most impressed me.

Very very well concieved.

PS

Anyone wanna buy a cheap unused strapping package?

PPS

I did search (in English language only) for permutations of rope fastening devices/self fastening devices for rope etc.

Without success.

Double bugger!!
