Tipper remote handset...

Just ran over mine today.

I left it hung over the sides as I pulled forward but a branch snagged it off and I crushed it under the trailers wheels...nuts.

I can only see them for sale on the web at Barlow trailers for a handsome £72 inc vat.

Are there any other sources of this style of handset?

Replaced mine with a 3 position waterproof outdoor light switch wich cost about 4quid from city electrical factor after doing exactaly the same thing.

Can you get a cordless one added to your tipper? Rather than standing with your arm thru the window or sat in the cab like?

All my tippers have the remote tyraped just inside the front chassis. You put your hand in so it does not get trapped. The remote faces backwards so the weather never gets in.
