I had a local guy complaining about me making noise with the saws I was servicing and then rocked up with two lawnmowers to service - people are strange sometimes.

Reckon the OP should have offered the guy free wood for a bit of silence - most of my neighbours have had their kit serviced or have purchased it from me....keeps them sweet in the nicest way:thumbup:

My neighbours have nothing to complain about,

The old dude next door I cut his hedge for him then sorted the brakes on his car, the guy in the other side..... Caught him with a spade knocking the crap out of 4 10ft dead birch trees:001_huh: Said I will be over after my dinner  and he asked if I needed to plug my saw in :laugh1: it's cool mate I'm on aspen 👍

A motor ticking over for 10 minuets at 4.30AM is pretty bad, IMO.

The problem is he's your neighbour, so you can't just ignore it and hope it goes away, you need to try and enter into some dialogue with him and find a compromise thats doable for both of you.

Agreed on this . Do everything as quiety as poss . De frost screen with warm water . Have it in gear . Dip clutch , start up and drive off in one .
