Beer prices escalate faster than they have in three years, which is not a surprise anymore. According to a report, beer prices are expected to rise in January 2015 after heavy rainfall disturbed barley harvests in the western United States. Here it is: Beer Prices.

I don't actually drink the stuff but we have skunky beer nights around here, I think you can get a glass for about a dollar. It probably tastes something like dirty dishwater.

After a birthday gift in March I now brew my own. For the princely sum of about twenty quid I can 40 pints on tap at home. You can get cheaper or more expensive kits, but that's a great pint at a great price. The set up cost isn't too much either, £40-50 will get all you need or around £60 for one with a Woodfordes Wherry kit included. My 'job' for this rainy day...

The best solution to combat rising beer prices is to drink Vodka.

 

I believe it doesn't matter how much a bottle costs, it's money well spent!
