My First Arbtalk Mushroom!

Took a nice old Pear down today and the wood was too good to chuck away.....so in the back of the Discovery it went!

 

This is my first mushroom for about 3 years.....Had great fun!

that looks pretty good John, you should have seen my first carving attempt at a stall (was 2nd day of using a chainsaw) turned out real crap. lol

I wonder if the more talented carvers amongst us would do a simple carving in step-by-step photo form (something that we could have ago at following) It’ll be fun having the laptops in the gardens, next to the chainsaws and sawdust!
