There is definitely room for improvement with the hybrid but it is very good.

1. I just think it needs balancing a bit somehow.

2. Make sure it can be used for hauling like the HC can.

3. Make it useable in SRT.

4. Obviously make sure it won't break like the original ZZ!

 

I did have a little play SRT (leaning off the chipper) and its a bit stiff and jumpy. But it doesn't knacker and bend the metal like it would on original ZZ.

 

There is definitely room for improvement though in my opinion.

Yes I will almost definitely buy a mk2. Unless DMM or similar beat them to it.

I don't think it's srt safe. Your doubling the forces on something that was part of a flimsy thing in the first place.

That's true Dean. Sometimes you take things for granted while doing stuff in your shed and you don't realise that copying a picture could lead to the use of less suitable materials. Copying just like that could lead to fatalities!

 

Exactly - I'd hope that every climber is sensible enough to know their limitations with regard to altering kit. Pictures on a forum can't beat real world proficiency!
