Got a letter delivered to Treewisemen HQ today. We had deadwooded two nice big oaks on the lady's property a few weeks back, then won a job next door to her. Anyway, little touches like this make the job even more rewarding. Happy day!

Isn't that nice? So often people are quick to critisize and complain and very rarely do you get a compliment. For someone to take the time to write a letter like this? Feel good factor for a good few weeks I'd say.

I wrote a "thanks" email to a garage that helped me out recently. They deserved it and after seeing comments in here about staff at GreenMech, I appreciate the value that a few words can have.

Well done Sir! Is the kindred spirit going go get a phone call?

Thats the longest "come on" I've ever read, she could have asked if you fancied going for a drink sometime:sneaky2::biggrin:

Joking aside, its really nice that she took the time to praise you and your work :thumbup1:

I think the important question is, "was she hot?" ;)

Good effort Ben

My sister's house was broken into last week and she says the copper who came out was brilliant. Suggested that she get in touch with his station, give them his collar number and ask them to pass on her thanks.

As pointed out, lots of people complain but few take the time to recognise a job well done.

As well as giving someone a lift from knowing their efforts are appreciated, it should also encourage them to keep doing it, which is great all round.

I know it works on me!!
