Tpo on an Elder!!:confused1:

They are weeds, horrible horrible shrubs!!! I hate them, the smell alone annoys me!!

:sneaky2:

I heard the wine was quite nice though:laugh1:

Rich that's the first pictures I ever saw on an IPhone, and converted me to Micro chipping:thumbup:

Haha, very true, when I'm hedge laying all the elder comes out and gets round up on the stumps, else it outgrows the hedge, shades it and then dies off leaving a gap, although, I have to admit, elderberry wine, elder flower champagne and even elderberry pie are all good reasons to keep it if you have the time and patience to collect enough berrys/flowers :laugh1:

Elderflower champagne is nice, and very easy to make!

Also very dangerous:lol: I made some, didnt fill the plastic bottles right up and gave them a squeeze whilst putting lid on tight to allow for expansion. Left them stood up in the bath in case they leaked. Went away for two nights and come back to empty bottles all over the bathroom and redecorated walls and ceiling in light hues of a yellowy green.

Glad we did go away, explosions in the night wouldn't of gone down too well with the wife maybe.

As for TPO on an elderberry, do you reckon the officer was in a competition with a coleague, Who could get a tpo on all the trees in an id book first? ITs notorious for being a weak hedge plant that stock shove through, and its known as "boretree" for its hollow trunk which makes it structurally weak, therefore a safety issue me thinks.
