The camellia was tucked up in a mass of overgrown laurel, forgotten about for years. I painstakingly handcut and released it from all the growth growing through it. Seemed good for it though. Might go back and make an attempt at some small-scale bracing at some point.

This is an odd one but I caught it a bit too late to show properly and it's a phone picture so not too great. It's a cherry tree outside the local bike shop and it flowers white on one side and pink on the other but the white side has gone into leaf. while the pink flowers longer.

spectacular this a.m. lit by early morning sun, shame colours washed out a bit in photo, but vivid yellow laburnum with maturing horse chestnut flower behind
