Great work mate, can we have some work in progress photos of the new job, would love to see how you achieve such a high standard.:)

OK :001_smile:

Bless this client. I had to make a delivery of logs for them and also discuss the next job. I had an idea in my head but I am truly dreadful at drawing but have discovered scetchup. So in the half hour before I went :blushing: I hastily did a quick rough design that will need some tinkering with. They take one look and said "yes lovely" Wish all clients could be that easily pleased. I don't have to give a price just charge for my hours. It may be a while before I can actually start as got a lot on at the moment but I will try and remember to pictures as things progress.

Not posted here for a while but thought this piece of wood would be of interest.

I cut this burr (I presume it's burr) from a beech but never got around to doing anything with it so gave it too the father in law who does a bit of turning. It is by far the biggest thing he has ever had a crack at but sadly he has had a few problems with it. Gouge caught dispatching the bowl across the room giving him a bit of scare. Now unsure how to remount it and repair the damage inside. Anyway enough blather from me and some pictures of what I am sure will be a most beautiful bowl.

PS. If you have any ideas on how fix the damage and remount it I will pass them on to him.
