Yes, thats the sort of thing im talking about.

Something like this, waste water pipe 6" and splayed end fits a quadchip spout spot on and when pushed all the way over you get full air flow down the pipe so no getting blocked. Only problems is its heavy so needs holding up at the truck end but saves so much time in tidy up its worth the hassle.

 

Why is it heavy? because of the chips in it? or the weight of the pipe?

The pipe has a wall thickness of about 4mm and for mine is almst 6 ft long so far more than the spout clamp can cope with.

 

and as for the tipper like i said watch this space but untill then its the good old tatty fork and a last thing thing at night work out on my own.

sorry that sounds wrong but shifting over 6m of chip workes up a sweat.

Greenmech again but you get the idea. This is 1 meter of kitchen extractor vent pipe (£7) so is really light. Not blocked it yet. It doesn't go right into the back of the truck but prevents the fanning out that the greenmech seems to do. Less than a shovel full of spillage for a truck full of chip.
