Mabye you should up your day-rate, and if you get no work you wont need to buy new kit, but if you do you can justify it? :)

Everything costs more, even my nice coffee, there are cheaper brands, but they taste nasty, so I take the hit on buying the one I like. And if people stop buying, companies will vanish then things become more expensive anyway. I see the point you are trying to make, but it is just a fact of life, we just have to learn to deal with it and just sit tight and ride the storm:alien:

Is no one else annoyed at the rob you blind price of the haix extreme boots.

 

inc vat £235.

 

Was £175

 

Reason for increase - greed

 

We are being taken the mick out of now days for ppe my stretch airs are falling part so do my boots now for them £435 does that not strike people as a rip off

we buy our 020t for £175 in the states its a joke that in your own country cant match it

Im off over to the US in a while-an I will bloody get one if its find-able?

 

Jeez we get stuck some over in the UK.

 

Dealers do get hit by a lot of costs now- Council rates/heating costs/insurance security, still- set up an online shop frm yr living room, cut yr overheads-don,t need to see a big shiny show room relly

The days of showrooms etc will be over price will drive them out.

 

It will be a website with a warehouse and delivery that will do the best.

 

You buy from many decent shops you get reward point why aint arb dealers offering deals.

 

All i know is like 90percent of other tree guys we hate these prices as it is and will continue to shop around and who knows might not even bother with overpriced uk companys just import for states still cheaper.

Thats a silly amount of cash for an 020T:scared1: I aint doubting you, no then again I am by saying you really sure about that?

 

If we had the Euro would none of this matter?

 

Goes to show GB doesnt make anything anymore, even meat classed as British Beef apparently isnt:confused1:

yes i sure our firm buy them at £175 each saw the only thing is that they havent got BSE stickers on them but not a proplem

 

 

buying chains out there in bulk works out appox £3 chain
