I wouldn't go as I hate any discomfort. I will watch it on the telly though, I understand The Stones are headlining. Now that I'd like to see!

 

HI LE at pilton pop or now called glastonbury they have posh tent at £1500/2k for the week or hotels and you come in to the site with your helicopter mate all the pop star stay at babington house frome somerset :thumbup1:jon :thumbup:

Yuppie festival.

 

so not true,,,,,,theres a vast amount of different cultures, and a great amount of skilled craftsmen and women from all over the country,some of the sculptures are works of art, stalls are made from sawmill off cuts,,,,and everybody is in a good mood, no town fights, nothing but a great week, , a pleasant change from dog,s..t,traffic, etc,,,,wouldnt miss it for the world,,,:001_smile:

Been 3 times, mega festival. Like any festival the discomfort of sharing a long drop with tens of thousands can be testing.

But the variety of music and eclectic mix of people makes it an extraordinary experience, the green fields are brilliant too.

I loved the fact that you could be learning to juggle with the circus skills area, then whittle a spoon in the green fields, watch an unknown acoustic artist or African drumming group, go and watch international super groups on the main stage, go mental to drum and bass in a silent disco, or do a 'kilnsman' through 2ft of sloppy mud all in a day!!
