Whilst driving today I noticed a tree surgery wagon coming towards me. I knew it was a Tree Surgery wagon because of the sign writing all over it advertising there trade. But when I saw the prams, dish washers, ironing boards and any other metal object you care to mention doing that impressive balancing act in the back of it my heart sank. What sort of impression must this give to Joe public about Tree Surgery?

There is a brand of "tree surgeon" that indulges in "do you have any old scrap sir"

Some times the price of scrap is better than ripping off the elderly

I take your point about the image it portrays but it suits me fine as, whilst they are weighing in metal, it saves me waking up to find a tipper load of "prunings" in a gatehole:

If it was " dids " then yea . but it would not be the first time we have diversified . We went to curt a hedge and ended up dismantling a piano to get it out of the house and take it to the tip .
