Are pick up tippers worth the extra £££?

I nearly bought a l200 club cab tipper 2 yrs ago but deal fell through, now got a standard 59 l200 club cab. Cant helping thinking a tipper would be a lot less work when un loading logs, but is the 2k rough price of a tipper conversion worth it? I can unload my truck in less then 2 mins by hand, so the tipper wont save me much time. If im being honest I think the tipper element for me would just make my firewood business loo that bit more professional (?!).

Any views would be greatly welcome, thanks

We use a hilux with 2 cu metre capacity it would take me alot longer to unload by hand than 2 minutes. By not offering stacking we can do 2 more deliveries a day. We have used a trailer in the past but found it scuffed up gravel drives and was a pain to push in snow and ice. The battery would go flat at just the wrong time. Our hilux charges its own battery, goes anywhere, drops a nice neat pile due to height of body, The oil is warmed by the exhaust so no slow drops either.

Iv'e been thinking about getting one for years now to help unloading chip. Use loadhandler at the moment and it's pretty good. They do come up for sale a bit. There's one on Orbitkey vans website at the moment, but it's white and I hate white

Well when i say by hand, I really mean when i open the tail gate a 1/4th of the load falls out, i then get in the buck and push the rest out with my feet...doesnt take long at all tbh.

Just been on there website and had a look, that hilux looks smart imo. It was them who let me down with the l200 tipper. They buy the trucks and get a local company close to them to make the tippers, they do a good job imo.
