Done plenty with mine and more than happy with it . Dunno what you mean about the spout all you have to do is hold it at right angles to saw . All in all good so far.

 

My point was, the stihl spout wont go in the fuel hole of the 540!:thumbdown:

 

Not sure what you mean by a right angle to the saw though mate:confused1:

It was the black stihl fuel filler I tried when I had a 540 on demo. They may have changed it on the released version though, not sure.

 

Of course, the husky one will fit I'm sure, but it's a poor excuse for a none spill spout and will not work after a couple of months, so not worth considering IMO.:thumbdown:

The grey and black ones always fitted, the fat black ones only ever fitted the bigger saws, but they were designed more for stihl machines
