love the dodge ram, my mate has the shooting of a huge forest in perthshire, he asked me today if i could go up and trim some trees around the high seats, in time for the bucks. a morning with the pole saw equals a weekend shooting and a year supply of venison.

if i had the time i'd do the job for you for the chance to go shooting:001_smile:

A very emotive subject for some whacking Hare`s like that but in reality there an agricultural pest and just a Rabbit with big ears. I don't think the lurcher boy`s would appreciate that though eh Dean, lol.

A local shoot to me just wont have the Hare`s shot not at any price.

The keeper said to me keep the dog and the gun off the Hare`s and we`ll get along just fine.

But woodland management is a different matter and the last thing land owner`s want to see is frayed and chiseled tree`s..

love the dodge ram, .

Stevie, you can hear that thing coming over a mile away, it has a 220 litre gas tank in the lift up bit at the back, you can see it in the third pic. Awsome machine, I want one tipper converted

Did someone run those 20 odd bunnies over at the same time?

That'll teach them to get startled at the headlights :001_smile:

Lol, They were actually having a hares crop noshing fun getogether at the time.

We don't shoot them on our shoot, their numbers seem to remain stable, but this shoot I was invited on, the farmers are run ragged with them. They go to great lengths to stop them devastating the crops and still can't get on top of the job.

Most turn a blind eye to the lurcher boys but the areas involved are huge and when you have 20 hares in one field you can see how big a problem it is.

The lurchers don't like this ground either because it is clay mixed with flint and chalk, the lurchers come back wearing clay boots with bits of flint inbetween their toes so get lame straight away.

Last night the spaniel couldn't walk, so I put him in the bath and rinsed his feet, inbetween his toes were these shards of flint in with the clay, his feet were red roar. :bored:

That is it, I'm going for my firearms cert and off to buy a .22 air rifle tomorrow, along with some real tree camo. Being a rock star didnt work out so I'm gonna be a hunter instead.
