The worst one is when you spot a dodgy reduction and take your eyes off the road for what seems half a minute, ending up on the other side of the road! :001_rolleyes:

I have taught my wife to recognise oak trees, but that's about her limit.

 

When I was collecting up the timber for the boats I needed various oak bends - she got somewhat fed up with us taking the back roads to look for standing dead oaks in the fields to either side of the road. Managed to find enough to do it that way though, so it worked!

If I hear even the faintest noise of a chainsaw....I'm on the hunt to see what's occuring...its like the pied piper!:rolleyes::)

 

 

One day we're all gonna end up meeting in a field somewhere following that fateful sound! :laugh1:

Guilty as charged! I've been known to take a 2hrr detour whilst on holiday just to see a tree I've read/heard about much to the annoyance of mrs/kids!
