Arb radios

I know this has ben brought up over the years but i wondered how people are getting on with the Stein PTT set up?

My 2 lads keep banging on about a set and yes i can see th benefits of no shouting and hand gestures etc but i'm not convinced on how they will stand up in this job on an almost daily basis and while not a massive amount of money for a 3 man set up i aint going to blow 500 quid if they last 3 weeks.

did think about a set of midland radio's and gel ear pieces, still PTT but a lot cheaper if they get knackered as the ear pices are about 12 quid each.

feedback please............... Ta.

Hi , where is the best place to buy midlands radios

Sounds better and cheaper than the rip off arb one for sale

Why "rip off"? How much you can build a set for? How much time have you spent on R&D? Easy to slag something off, hard to write constructive criticism.

Sorry , went to the apf this year and there was a stall selling arb radio headsets, at £500 plus extras , guess that's a lot of money ?

Was that the arborcom set up? I thought that looked expensive....

The stein ptt one is just an MSA ear defender with a mic and speaker isn't it? Can't see what there is to go wrong. I'd love one but ain't justify it...
